About Me
In the past, I often spent a lot of time and energy thinking about things that had already happened, or worrying about what might happen in the future. This habit caused a great deal of anxiety in my life. I struggled to fully enjoy the present moment and all the happiness it had to offer—until I found Vedic Meditation.
Discovering Vedic Meditation changed both my personal and professional life in profound ways. The benefits I experienced through my own practice inspired me to share this technique with others. I made the life-changing decision to pause my career and personal life and travel to Rishikesh, India, at the base of the beautiful Himalayan mountains, where I spent three months training to become a Vedic Meditation teacher under the guidance of my teacher, Thom Knoles—Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Maharishi Vyasanand Giri Maharaj.
Health and wellness have always played an important role in my life. For the past 22 years, I’ve worked as an elementary school Physical Education teacher in the Chicagoland area. Outside of work, I have a wonderful wife and daughter and I love to travel, go ballroom dancing with my wife, and sing in our family rock band.
