About Me
In my past, I often spent a lot of time and energy thinking about things that had already happened, or worrying about what might happen in the future. This habit caused a great deal of anxiety in my life. I struggled to fully enjoy the present moment and all the happiness it had to offer—until I found Vedic Meditation.
Discovering and practicing Vedic Meditation changed both my personal and professional life in profound ways. The benefits I experienced through my own practice inspired me to want to share this technique with others. I made the life-changing decision to pause my career and personal life and travel to Rishikesh, India, at the base of the beautiful Himalayan mountains. I spent three months training to become a Vedic Meditation teacher under the guidance and knowledge of my teacher, Thom Knoles—Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Maharishi Vyasanand Giri Maharaj.
Health and wellness have always played an important role in my life. For the past 23 years, I have worked as an elementary school Physical Education teacher in the Chicagoland area. I have a wonderful wife and daughter and I love to travel, ballroom dance with my wife, practice Improv comedy and sing in our family rock band.
